The Windsong Residence is a stunning spacious five-bedroom home in the suburbs of London, currently in the construction phase. Spanning three storeys, the project features an abundance of marble textures throughout, enhancing the luxurious feel of the space. Although the clients initially desired floating stairs, the cost of demolishing and rebuilding them was prohibitive. Instead, we devised an innovative solution that creates the illusion of floating stairs, achieving the desired aesthetic without the expense.
After thoroughly understanding the clients' preferences, we designed the entrance and cloakroom with an 'Islamic Zen Garden' theme. This theme incorporates natural textures, a central waterfall, and subtle undertones of Islamic calligraphy and geometric patterns, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere.
